About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring a full-time Flex Security Officer for the Jesup, Georgia area. The officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security services to clients. The role requires open availability to work flexible hours and may involve working outdoors in all-weather conditions, routine foot patrols, and moderate lifting. The officer must follow DSI and client requirements, post instructions, and general safety procedures, and interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, hold a valid driver's license and Texas Security License, and meet all pre-employment requirements. Required screenings include criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Requirements

Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Open availability to work flexible hours.
At least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and Texas Security License.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements.
Pass criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to clients.
Observe, correct, and report hazards to promote safety.
Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements and specific post instructions.
Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.
Work in all-weather elements as needed.
