About The Position

DSI Security Services is hiring full-time and part-time Flex Security Officers in the Evansville, Indiana area. The role provides general security services for clients while helping maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. Open availability is required. Officers interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public, follow DSI and client requirements and post instructions, and participate in training. The position requires routine foot patrols, moderate lifting, and working outdoors in all-weather conditions as needed. Pay is $18.00 per hour.

Requirements

Customer-service orientation and effective written and oral communication skills.
Basic to intermediate computer skills.
Ability to perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting.
Open availability to work flexible hours.
At least 21 years old.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid state driver’s license.
Reliable means of transportation and communication.
Must meet all pre-employment requirements, including criminal background, motor vehicle, and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees while providing general security duties to clients.
Observe, correct, and report hazards to promote safety.
Understand and comply with DSI and client requirements and specific post instructions.
Participate in training and become familiar with general safety procedures and DSI’s safety manual.
Interact professionally with clients, visitors, employees, and the public.
Perform routine foot patrols and moderate lifting as required.
Work in all-weather elements as needed.
