About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Davenport, Iowa, you will help safeguard clients, employees, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, support a welcoming environment, provide customer service, and respond professionally to security-related concerns. The position pays $18.80 per hour and is scheduled Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 4:00 AM to 8:00 AM.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and assist with visitor management and traffic flow.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, communicating with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare clear and accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in accordance with company and site requirements.
