About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol officer in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to support a technology, media, and telecommunications location. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, respond to concerns, and provide customer service and communication. The position is scheduled for daytime shifts on Monday and Tuesday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The pay rate is $17.63 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements.

Nice To Haves

CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific security procedures and policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating information through established channels as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entrances, loading areas, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct guests to appropriate locations in accordance with site procedures.
Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation.
Maintain professional communication with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
