About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for an assigned facility in Dublin, Ohio. The position is in a chemical and petrochemical facility environment and provides a designated weekly anchor shift at the assigned site, with a six-month commitment. The officer may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and the option to scale back. The listed pay rate is $18.63 per hour. The scheduled shift is Friday, 4:00 PM–12:00 AM.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required before employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond calmly and with a problem-solving approach to incidents, alarms, hazardous material concerns, and critical situations, following site protocols and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, operational areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor site access by checking credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and reporting access-related concerns in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and promptly.
