About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for facility patrol at a logistics and distribution location in Etna, Ohio. The officer will conduct routine and random patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role involves professional communication, responding to security concerns, and delivering customer service consistent with Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, care, and integrity. The position is part time and pays $17.98 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation, subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, following established reporting procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, building exteriors, and perimeter areas; identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for pedestrians, vehicles, and deliveries.
Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
