About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a healthcare location in Holly Springs, North Carolina. The officer will help safeguard the facility and create a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, providing customer service, and responding professionally to security-related needs. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations, and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, donors, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the healthcare facility, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, donor, and employee activity while following site-specific protocols.
Accurately document incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
