About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer to support a healthcare location in Clayton, North Carolina. The role involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and providing customer service and communication. The officer uses computer or tablet technology to support daily responsibilities and works with a team that values integrity and putting people first. The position pays $18.54 per hour and is scheduled Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergo a background investigation, as permitted and required by applicable laws.
- Undergo a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients.
- Take part in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with a problem-solving approach.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents.
