About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Security Officer at a premier commercial real estate location in New York, NY, you will safeguard clients and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. The position is scheduled Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The pay rate is $19.06 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a New York State Security Guard License.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations, escalating matters according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site management or Allied Universal leadership.
Document patrol observations, incidents, and daily activities in required reports while communicating professionally with occupants and visitors.
