About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Site Security in New York, NY, at a financial institution. The role provides reliable hours at an assigned site, with a designated weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may also claim additional shifts through the company scheduling platform and can build toward a schedule of up to 40 hours per week. The listed pay rate is $21.52 per hour. The scheduled shift is Friday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures while helping to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, exterior areas, and perimeter, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
