About The Position

United Security, Inc. is seeking part-time per diem Security Officers for an as-needed overnight position in Westchester County, NY. Overnight availability is required, along with schedule flexibility and weekend availability. The pay rate is $20 per hour. Officers secure premises and personnel by patrolling properties, monitoring surveillance equipment and access points, investigating security incidents, and documenting observations and activities. This role requires working in high-pedestrian-traffic environments and staying alert. Applicants will be contacted by the USI Recruitment Team to arrange a virtual interview.

Requirements

• Security experience required.
• At least 1 year of security experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• New York State Security License.
• Active driver's license.
• Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours.
• Must be able to work overnight shifts and weekends.
• Schedule flexibility.
• Ability to stay alert.
• Ability to work in high-pedestrian-traffic environments.
• COVID vaccination card, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and monitoring access points.
• Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
• Record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities in reports.
• Interview witnesses and obtain signatures as needed.
• Comply with legal requirements to maintain the organization’s stability and reputation.
