About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Jose, California. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols at assigned locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, reliable support, integrity, and teamwork.

The schedule is Wednesday through Sunday, 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM. The pay rate is $23.00 per hour. Applicants must meet the stated age and education requirements and are subject to a background investigation and drug screen as conditions of employment. Applicable licensing requirements may apply.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license, as required by Allied Universal driver policy for driving positions.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations using a problem-solving approach.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and respond to security-related concerns.
