About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients across industries including commercial real estate, healthcare, education, and government. The role provides customer service while carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Officers respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and use problem-solving skills. The position also involves conducting regular and random patrols around the business and its perimeter; work environments and conditions may vary by client site.

The listed pay rate is $20 per hour, with weekly pay. Applicants must meet age and education or experience requirements and may be subject to background investigation and drug screening. Licensing requirements depend on applicable state and local laws; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
• Submit to a background investigation, as a condition of employment and in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter.
