About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer to serve as a professional, welcoming front desk presence at a beverage distribution location in Raymore, Missouri. The officer will manage visitor access, monitor entry activity, communicate with employees and guests, and respond to security-related concerns while supporting a positive environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care for people. The position pays $21.74 per hour and is scheduled Tuesday through Friday, 2:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that may apply under state or local laws and regulations, potentially before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Staff the front desk; greet guests, verify identification, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals according to site procedures.
Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, access concerns, and facility issues to appropriate personnel.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, following established problem-solving, escalation, and communication procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while providing professional communication and support.
