About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location in Jonestown, Pennsylvania, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. You will maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for shoppers, tenants, and staff. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, professionalism, teamwork, and integrity. A shift-claiming platform lets officers view and claim additional shifts. The scheduled shifts are Monday and Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $15.91 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet licensing requirements that apply under state and/or local laws and regulations; licensing may be required before employment.
A valid driver's license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by following security procedures and location-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail spaces, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
Monitor for suspicious activity, access issues, and potential hazards, and report observations according to location procedures.
Maintain a professional presence while assisting with access control and directions, and communicating with store personnel and responding agencies as needed.
