About The Position

As a Security Officer - Building Concierge in Scottsdale, Arizona, you will serve and safeguard clients at a commercial real estate location. You will create a welcoming, professional first impression while monitoring access, assisting visitors, and communicating security-related concerns. The role uses technology to support daily operations, maintains a visible presence to help deter incidents, and delivers customer service while following site-specific procedures and security protocols. The position is full-time and pays $21.00 per hour. The schedule is Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, and Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at the front desk while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain visitor and contractor logs.
Monitor access points, lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, and report unusual conditions or concerns.
Respond professionally to incidents, service requests, and critical situations, coordinating with building management and emergency responders when appropriate.
Answer phones, provide directions and building information, receive deliveries, and support access control procedures for tenants and authorized personnel.
