About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer in Virginia Beach, Virginia. This customer-service-focused role involves engaging with people and building confidence while working in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The schedule is full-time: Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The position pays $19.00 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost, and the role offers career growth opportunities. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Hold an active DCJS license.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully pass an extensive screening process.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Be proficient in basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a state license if required.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them as needed.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams.
• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
• Help ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property.
