About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Concierge Security Officer for a driving post in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The role emphasizes customer service and building confidence with people in settings such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers. The position is full-time, with a Wednesday–Saturday schedule listed as 3 p.m.–11 a.m. The hourly wage is $18. A uniform is provided at no cost. Employment is contingent on successfully completing a background check and drug screening after an offer is extended.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Pass an extensive screening process, including a post-offer background check and drug screening.
• Have exceptional customer service skills.
• Have basic phone and computer skills.
• Hold a Florida Class D Security License.
• Be at least 21 years old, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors, verify their identities, and guide them.
• Manage access control.
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks.
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs.

• Answer questions in person or by phone.
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns.
