About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time, unarmed Security Officer Patrol Hazard Awareness in Nashua, New Hampshire, supporting an aerospace and defense location. The officer will safeguard clients and provide customer service through routine facility and perimeter patrols, maintaining a visible presence, responding to security concerns, and communicating clearly with site personnel. The role is scheduled Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local security licensing requirements; a license may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A state-, county-, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, grounds, perimeter areas, and access points.
Monitor and report unusual activity, unsecured areas, and potential policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
Assist with visitor screening, credential verification, access control, and documentation in accordance with site requirements.
