About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol driver and customer service Security Officer for a residential community in Houston, Texas. The officer will safeguard residents, visitors, staff, and property by conducting vehicle and foot patrols, maintaining a visible presence, monitoring access and visitor activity, and providing professional customer service. The driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The position pays $17.00 per hour and is scheduled Thursday through Sunday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Requirements

Valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; required for driving positions.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, responding to emergencies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to community policies; document incidents and notify appropriate personnel as needed.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation according to company and site requirements.
