About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol Security Officer at a financial institution in Boston, Massachusetts, you will help safeguard the site by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, and helping deter security-related incidents. You will provide customer service and clear communication while maintaining a professional environment. The scheduled hours are Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Requirements

At least two years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply under state or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification.
Customer service experience.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Access control and badge experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in accordance with established site procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document access-related concerns.
Prepare clear, timely incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation for site leadership and Allied Universal.
