About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Security Officer Access Control Patrol for a food and beverage manufacturing location in Fayetteville, North Carolina. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned facility areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide customer service and clear communication to help create a welcoming environment. The role includes daytime-labeled Tuesday and Wednesday shifts from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Pay is $15.50 per hour.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles and have a high school diploma or equivalent. Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable law.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements if required for the role.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to client personnel, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific security procedures and policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter.
• Monitor access, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate logs and incident reports.
• Report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and policy violations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
