About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Armed Security Officer Patrol Driver with an active Secret Clearance to support an aerospace and defense location in Culpeper, Virginia. The role involves conducting routine armed patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, responding professionally to site needs, and operating a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy. The officer provides customer service and communicates effectively while following site-specific policies and procedures.

The scheduled shifts are Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $28.59 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, to the extent permitted by law, a drug screen. The role includes industry-specific security training.

Requirements

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation; a drug screen may also be required to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations; identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, following site procedures and applicable use-of-force requirements.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and employee activity according to site requirements.
• Maintain required armed officer certifications and equipment, and complete incident reports in accordance with company and site policies.
• Operate a vehicle in accordance with Allied Universal policy.
