About The Position

As a full-time Armed Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location in Jupiter, Florida, you will serve and safeguard clients by conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help deter incidents, and responding to security-related concerns. This driving post requires customer service and clear communication while supporting a professional environment. You will carry out site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities; respond to incidents, alarms, and access-control concerns; and conduct armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations. The role requires a Department of Defense Secret Clearance, a valid armed guard card or license, and a valid driver’s license. Pay is $30.62 per hour.

Requirements

Possess a valid Armed Guard Card or License.
Possess a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Have a minimum of 2 years of military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor and report unusual conditions, suspicious activity, and security-related policy violations through required communication and reporting channels.
Maintain required firearms qualifications and follow applicable laws, post orders, and Allied Universal procedures for the authorized carrying and use of assigned equipment.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
