About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Armed Security Officer to support an aerospace and defense location in Camden, Arkansas. The officer will safeguard the site by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, maintaining a visible security presence, and responding professionally to changing situations. The role provides customer service and communication while following site protocols. Pay is $21.12 per hour, with weekly pay. The schedule includes Monday, Saturday, and Sunday daytime shifts.

Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or license.
Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state and/or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
Handcuffing certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and contractors.
Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
