About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Emergency Patrol in Watsonville, California. The role provides a designated site and weekly anchor shift intended to offer a reliable base schedule, with a six-month commitment to the assignment. The employee may also claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform, potentially building up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week while retaining the option to scale back.

The assigned schedule is Saturday, 9:00 AM–2:00 PM. The pay rate is $22.50 per hour. The position provides customer service at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, patrols, and emergency response activities.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entrances, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, assist with directions, and maintain a professional presence.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
