About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer in Compton, California, serving a manufacturing and industrial location. The officer will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security concerns, and provide customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. The role is scheduled Wednesday through Sunday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM, and pays $19.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, using problem-solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized activity or unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities according to site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
