Requirements

  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and front desk support activities at a professional location.
  • Monitor lobby and entrance activity, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, issue badges when appropriate, and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent application of post procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
  • Maintain accurate front desk records, visitor logs, and incident documentation, and support security-related communications involving deliveries, guest arrivals, and access requests.
  • Follow Allied Universal protocols and client-directed expectations for a front desk post within a regulated location, while handling sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
