About The Position

As a Security Officer Lobby Desk in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Front Desk Officer in a busy retail location, you will be the first point of contact, helping visitors, managing access, and supporting daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. You will help to deter incidents through a professional presence while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, all while working with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following site-specific procedures, assisting visitors, and supporting security-related protocols for the location.
  • Monitor access points, greet employees, vendors, and guests, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor activity in accordance with post instructions.
  • Respond to incidents, questions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
  • Support day-to-day front desk operations by answering phones, managing deliveries, maintaining logs and reports, and reporting unusual activity or policy concerns to Allied Universal leadership.
