About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned logistics and distribution site in Cudahy, Wisconsin. The position has a fixed weekly anchor shift requiring a six-month commitment, with the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. The role can provide consistent part-time hours and the opportunity to increase hours, potentially up to 40 per week, while retaining the option to scale back. The posted shift is Saturday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM. Pay is $18.64 per hour.

The Security Officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include controlling access, monitoring facility and vehicle activity, documenting visitors and incidents, responding to situations, and patrolling facility areas.

Employment is contingent on a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. State or local licensing may be required. A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver’s license only if assigned to a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, drivers, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery appointments.
• Monitor entry and exit points, vehicle traffic, and restricted areas; maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and incident documentation.
• Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, escalating concerns to site leadership or emergency services as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, trailer yard, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unauthorized access or security concerns.
