About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Driver Documentation Security Officer for a healthcare location in Fairfax, Virginia. The role involves conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while providing customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors. The officer uses communication skills to respond to concerns and supports a caring environment. The position is scheduled Fridays and Saturdays from 2:45 PM to 11:00 PM and pays $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• A guard card or license.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and contractors by following site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations; identify and report security-related concerns.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, medical-related emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations, following established site protocols.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access or unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Accurately document patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
