About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for an assigned logistics and distribution site in Boerne, Texas. The role provides consistent anchor shifts with a six-month commitment, plus the option to claim additional shifts through the company’s scheduling platform. Employees may vary their hours week to week and can build up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week, with the option to scale back. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The posted schedule lists Monday from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM and Wednesday from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM.

The officer provides customer service and carries out security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Duties include unarmed patrols, monitoring access and visitors, responding to incidents, and recording observations and irregular conditions. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Submit to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, employee entrances, and the business perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and direct drivers, vendors, and visitors according to site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol observations, and irregular conditions in required reports.
• Assist with the orderly flow of personnel and vehicles during routine operations and emergencies.
