About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer for a commercial real estate location in Atlanta, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard the property by conducting routine patrols, monitoring access points and alarm activity, deterring incidents through a visible presence, and providing customer service to tenants and visitors. The role is part of a team culture emphasizing integrity, communication, reliability, and professionalism.

The position pays $18.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Officers use Allied Universal's Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with alarm panels.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Experience with access control and badge systems.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and conducting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas.
• Identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Monitor property access, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and direct guests to appropriate offices or amenities.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations; notify appropriate personnel and document observations and actions.
• Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications in accordance with company and site requirements.
