About The Position

As a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location in Culver City, California, you will help safeguard clients and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors and tenants, and communicate clearly with site personnel. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
Possession of a guard card or license.
Customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and employees by following site-specific security procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of common areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations, following established site procedures.
Monitor access points and observe activity; report maintenance concerns, hazards, policy violations, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
Maintain accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and responding public service agencies.
