About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed Patrol Security Officer for a residential location in Chino, California. The officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to residents and guests. The role involves communicating professionally, documenting observations, and supporting a positive environment through teamwork and integrity. The schedule is Friday and Saturday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. The pay rate is $20.50 per hour. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents, guests, visitors, and staff while following site-specific procedures and security protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, entrances, and perimeter areas.
Identify and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, resident concerns, alarms, and emergencies, following site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Maintain a professional presence that supports a welcoming residential environment and helps deter unauthorized access and disruptive activity.
