Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver

About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer for a driving post at a financial institution in Sacramento, California. The officer conducts routine unarmed patrols and maintains a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while providing customer service and communicating professionally. The role requires a valid driver’s license. The scheduled shifts are Thursday and Friday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM. The pay rate is $20.00 per hour.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions, subject to Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and local laws and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and customers while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, offices, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity according to site-specific access-control procedures.
Accurately document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
