About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer Enhanced for Screening Queue Management in Shepherdsville, Kentucky. The role provides a fixed weekly anchor shift at an assigned site, requiring a six-month commitment. Officers may claim additional shifts through the scheduling platform, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week and scale back when needed. The position is intended for people seeking part-time work with consistent hours, flexibility, and a possible path to full-time employment. Pay is $17.63 per hour. The listed schedule is Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
• Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• Have a valid driver's license if applying for a driving position.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, access-screening protocols, and emergency-response activities as appropriate.
• Screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and personal items according to location policies; verify identification, credentials, appointments, and authorized access.
• Operate screening equipment and complete required visitor, delivery, and incident documentation while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations, notifying appropriate personnel according to established procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
