Security Officer Unarmed Access Control Patrol Driver Security Clearance
About The Position
Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for an aerospace and defense location in Clearfield, Utah. This driving role supports site security through patrols, access control, incident response, and customer service. The officer works with a team in a mission-focused environment and helps protect personnel, visitors, contractors, controlled areas, and sensitive property. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $23.62 per hour. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen. Licensing requirements may apply under state or local law.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require age 21 or older.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
- Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements may apply under state and/or local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while following security procedures, site policies, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as directed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed vehicle and foot patrols of buildings, perimeter areas, parking locations, and other assigned areas.
- Help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials or authorization as directed, and help protect controlled areas and sensitive property from unauthorized access.
- Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly according to site-specific procedures.
