About The Position

As a Security Officer Patrol Access Control Driver in Bangor, Maine, you will serve and safeguard clients at a manufacturing and industrial location. This unarmed, driving post involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting access control activities, and helping deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. The role requires a valid driver’s license and emphasizes customer service, communication, and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements; a valid license is required for driving positions.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout manufacturing areas, office spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports about incidents, patrol observations, and other security-related activities.
