About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer to serve and safeguard clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location in Spanaway, Washington. The officer will conduct routine interior and exterior patrols, monitor access points and visitor activity, help deter security-related incidents, and provide customer service. The role requires a valid driver’s license and follows site-specific procedures and reporting requirements.

The posted schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Pay is $21.85 per hour. The role offers opportunities to claim additional shifts, paid training, and career growth opportunities.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• State or local licensing requirements may apply and may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel while following security procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services as directed by policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, entrances, and common areas.
• Observe and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, help deter unauthorized entry, and maintain accurate incident and activity documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and follow Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
