About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed Security Officer for a retail location in Moreland, Georgia. The officer will serve and safeguard clients by maintaining a visible presence, conducting patrols, supporting access control and badge procedures, responding to security-related concerns, and providing customer service. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The pay rate is $18.54 per hour.

Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing may be required prior to employment, subject to state and local laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by following security procedures and site-specific policies and, when appropriate, participating in emergency response activities.
Respond calmly to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of retail and mall common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
Monitor access points and observe activity to help deter unauthorized access, theft-related activity, and other policy violations.
Document incidents, patrol observations, and maintenance or security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.
