About The Position

ProMedica Security Officers help ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees. They monitor facilities, assist people with directions, and regulate traffic and parking, providing traffic control when needed. They investigate and report accidents, hazards, and incidents, and restrain combative patients as needed. Officers must successfully complete all required training and keep certifications current.

This is a full-time position at Monroe Regional Hospital, working 40 hours per week on the afternoon shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the state where the employee will work.
• Clean driving record, demonstrated by a motor vehicle record (MVR), to qualify for coverage under the company's insurance policy.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in security or a related field.
• Prior security experience.
