About The Position

ProMedica Security Officers help ensure the safety of patients, visitors, and employees while monitoring facilities and assisting people with directions. The role regulates and controls traffic, enforces parking rules, and provides traffic control when needed. The officer investigates and reports accidents, hazards, and incidents and restrains combative patients as needed. The officer must complete all required training and remain current in any certifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license in the state of employment and a clean driving record, as demonstrated by an MVR, to qualify for coverage under the Company's insurance policy.
• Complete the Basic Security Officer Certification through IAHSS within six months of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree in security or a related field.
• Prior security experience.

Responsibilities
