About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time unarmed patrol Security Officer for a healthcare location in Savannah, Georgia. The officer will help safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and hospital property by conducting patrols, maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring access points, and responding professionally to security-related needs. The role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, teamwork, and a welcoming environment.

The position pays $19.02 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Applicants must be at least 18 years old for an unarmed role and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants are subject to a background investigation and, where permitted by law, a drug screen.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally, coordinating with hospital personnel and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entry points, and surrounding grounds to identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific policies while helping maintain a welcoming environment.
• Complete accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and policy concerns to site leadership and appropriate personnel.
