Hospital Security Officer
About The Position
The Hospital Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling assigned locations. The officer observes and reports activities and incidents, protects client property and personnel, preserves order, and enforces site-related regulations and directives for personnel and visitors. Officers may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No prior experience is necessary; training is provided. Applicants with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds may be a good fit.
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
- Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and walking for potentially long periods, including climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
