About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Unarmed Patrol Officer to serve and safeguard patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare facility in Garfield Heights, Ohio. The role focuses on visible, routine patrols and customer service to help deter incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. The officer responds to security-related concerns and critical situations according to established hospital protocols and site-specific policies. The position pays $17.00 per hour. The listed schedule is Monday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AM. Employees can use Allied Universal’s Claim a Shift platform to view and claim additional shifts. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, consistent with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in accordance with established hospital protocols.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and report unusual conditions, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
Direct visitors and provide information while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
