About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time unarmed patrol Security Officer at a financial institution location in Raleigh, North Carolina. The role involves maintaining a visible security presence, conducting patrols, supporting a welcoming environment, and providing professional customer service and communication. The scheduled shifts are Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. The pay rate is $18.03 per hour.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building exterior, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter, identifying and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures.
Accurately and promptly document observations, incidents, and patrol activity, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
