About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer for a food and beverage distribution location in Rochester, Minnesota. The officer will help safeguard the site by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access and visitor activity, responding professionally to concerns, and supporting a welcoming environment for employees, customers, and visitors. The role is scheduled Thursday and Friday from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM and pays $18.00 per hour. Applicants are subject to background investigation and drug screening as permitted by law. State or local licensing may be required before employment.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for an unarmed role.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, employees, vendors, and visitors while following security procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity according to site procedures, documenting observations and reporting unusual conditions.
Respond calmly and professionally to incidents and critical situations, notifying appropriate site contacts or emergency personnel as directed.
Maintain accurate activity logs and complete required reports.
