About The Position

As a full-time Security Officer supporting Screening Quality Assurance at a logistics and distribution location in Dallas, Texas, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring access points, screening personnel and visitors, and reporting security-related concerns. You will remain visible to deter incidents while providing professional customer service and clear communication. The role includes carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. The scheduled hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. The pay rate is $16.82 per hour.

Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience.
At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements prior to employment, if required.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Screen personnel, visitors, and authorized items entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and applicable requirements.
Monitor access points and verify credentials, shipping documentation, and authorization for entry as required.
Respond calmly to incidents and critical situations, promptly reporting concerns through established channels.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including business areas and the perimeter, and observe for unusual activity or conditions.
