About The Position

Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a State Site in Boston MA. Sunday - Thursday 11 PM - 7 AM. Starting Pay is $21.50 Per Hour. Paid Orientation / Paid Training. As a Security Officer in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, report observations, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to assigned areas, verify credentials as directed, and maintain visitor and contractor entry records in accordance with site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, hazards, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and daily logs, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
